- When determining the local protection level which would apply, you should consider both the level which applies to your place of departure (where your BB Company is based), and the level which applies to the destination/site of residential. In all cases the guidance which applies to the higher protection level should be followed. Groups may travel through areas subject to higher protection levels but should make every effort not to stop in a higher level area. If you are unsure of which level an area is in you can use this postcode checker – https://www.gov.scot/check-local-covid-level
- Please follow travel guidance as highlighted in the latest Scottish Government Guidance (page 19 & 20) – see https://www.youthlinkscotland.org/media/5974/youth-work-covid-19-guidance-framework.pdf
- Covid-19 protocols are maintained during the residential (2m physical distancing, use of face coverings, and hygiene/cleaning).
- All usual Brigade regulations and policies should also be followed including Residential Notification form which MUST be submitted to BB Headquarters at least 14 days before. BB Headquarters may request a copy of the completed risk assessment.
